This lab course will deepen the theoretical knowledge gained in the lecture Basics of Electrical Engineering for Computer Scientists through practical exercises and experiments.
The distribution of groups can be found here (ordered by matriculation number): Group assignment. Unfortunately, we were not able to take all preferred dates into regard. You may switch your group in justified cases only. If you want to switch, search for someone to switch with, e.g. in the forum. Inform me (Mr. Mitsching) of the change via email stating your reason. You will then receive an email in case your request is permitted.
The particular dates of the respective groups and the corresponding experiment number can be found in the following PDF file: dates
Those participants who must make up an experiment session and have registered for that are assigned with the following dates:
In case you have registered for a make up date but are not listed above, please inform Mr. Mitsching until 2007-07-13 at the latest.
The documents for the upcoming experiment session will be published here one week prior to the respective experiment. Print out the documents and work through the respective tasks in order to prepare yourself for the experiment session. You should bring along a pen, a calculator and a lineal with you for the experiments.
If you have not prepared yourself, you MAY NOT participate due to safety reasons!
Note: Mere overflying of the provided documents is not sufficient. The successful preparation of the homework is obligatory for participating in the respective experiment sessions. Participants who are not prepared sufficiently cannot attend the respective experiment and must make up for it at a later time. However, this is only possible once.
If you come to the lab course unprepared more than once, you will not acquire any certificate and you must retry the lab course as a whole next year.
The lecture is not geared to any specific book. However, we recommend the following literature for deepening content:
